I met my friend Camille de Galbert while studying towards a Certificate Program in modern dance with the Merce Cunningham Studio. We were both attracted to storytelling, I went on to study acting, while she took a directing program.
This project was her experimenting with shooting on film: a short about a singer doing her best to get her work out there… Looking back it was kind of visionary: I wasn’t singing at the time!
